(CLA) Tutor Program Agreement

As a parent, I understand that my child is responsible for their progress while in the program. This will depend on how hard my child works and their attitude during sessions. I understand that the tutor will provide guidance and support but will not complete work on behalf of my child.

I Agree:
  • My child will attend all scheduled virtual tutoring sessions.
  • My child will have access to a stable internet connection, a quiet learning environment, and the necessary technology (e.g., laptop/tablet, webcam, microphone).
  • Services will last for the agreed-upon academic term.
  • Special holidays will be recognized and honored according to the tutoring schedule.
  • I will ensure my child logs in on time for each session and remains engaged throughout.
PLEASE NOTE: If you need to cancel, we require at least 24 hours notice before a scheduled class. If you do not cancel within this time frame, the full payment for the session will be forfeited. We do not offer refunds.

No Liability Insurance and Acknowledgments

My signature confirms that I understand and assume ALL RISKS when my child participates in virtual tutoring with Carthagena Learning Academy. This includes but is not limited to technical issues, internet disruptions, and any external factors affecting online learning.

During virtual sessions, Carthagena Learning Academy is not responsible for any inappropriate content that my child may access online. Parental supervision is required to ensure a safe and appropriate learning environment.

Photography Authorization

Carthagena Learning Academy may record virtual sessions for educational and quality assurance purposes. These recordings will not be shared publicly without consent. Screenshots or video clips may be used for promotional purposes on the academy’s website, newsletters, or social media.

Pricing

Registration Fee

There is a mandatory non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child. It must be paid in full upon enrollment or re-enrollment.

Withdrawal/Termination

A two weeks notice of intent to withdraw is requested. No refunds will be issued.
